I recently acquired a 1966 Newport with the stock 383 2-barrel engine.
I noticed that the spring and counterweight are missing on the exhaust manifold heat riser mechanism. Does anyone know which way to turn it so that it stays open?

I see that 300 was on Bringatrailer. That is only the 2nd C-body with a red interior and roof that I have seen, the other was a ‘68 New Yorker in a junkyard recently. I think those grille pieces will sell to someone, if not I would try Murray Park….
