Shock recommendation for added ride height?

IMHO, adding air shocks to raise the rear puts strain on the upper shock mount. I've seen where this can damage that mount to the point of it needing a lot of work (read$$) to repair. The much better solution is new leaf springs.

    Wiring in electric choke

Easy place to hook to is at the coil. The wire should be dark blue on the positive terminal and it runs directly to the ballast resistor. Basically the same as the hook up to the ballast resistor only without having to add another connection there. Just a simple terminal on the end of the...

    Wiring in electric choke

The relay is hot all the time so you can't use that.

Shock recommendation for added ride height?

Always replace your leaf springs on a 50 year old car. We never realize how bad they've worn and always blame the shocks.

Shock recommendation for added ride height?

If your car has the original leaf springs, they probably need replacing.

Plug n play headlight harness upgrade

Something is clearly wrong. Fixing other people's attempt on electrical installations can be a headache. I would look for a good description for the installation of relays for the headlights and start over. I'll see if I can find mine. They were excellent. Don't just remove them they are a very...

    Happy Birthday

...and don't forget, gentlemen. The best way to celebrate your day is to scrub skunk off your dog in the middle of the night while listening to your wife and teen daughter complain about how bad it stinks. At least I'll be going to see Ghostbusters this evening at my local Regal Cinema!

Shock recommendation for added ride height?

Only air shocks or load booster shocks will add ride height, conventional or gas shocks will not.

    Wiring in electric choke

Provided that your car is more or less in stock condition, the ballast resistor is a white, boxy looking part made from ceramic material and mounted to the passenger side of the firewall, about 1" x 3" in size. There should be one dark blue wire connected to one side of the ballast resistor...

Shock recommendation for added ride height?

I'm wanting to raise the ride height on my 77 T&C. Done some searching and see where gas shocks can add up to 2.5" to 3" height. My shocks appear to be pretty old and rusty so I will replace them regardless. I've seen some older Mopar C bodies that apparently had spring shackles factory...

By the part number not the casting number. It is stamped on the side under the output lug.

    What is this wagon?

Ya the hidden headlights look good. I wish the 74-77 T&Cs came with the waterfall grill and hidden headlights. I would be tempted to swap mine, but I like keeping things original as built. Same with the interiors on the 74-77 wagons, wish they had the option for the high trim seats like the...
