I find the easiest way to find an exhaust leak is to start the car and restrict the flow by using a glove or a shop towel and hold it over the exhaust tail pipe. Don't plug it totally or you will kill the engine or make more leaks. lol. If it is an exhaust leak it will get louder. You may need...

Does sound like an exhaust leak. Look for "black trails" on the exhaust connections.

Sure sounds like an exhaust leak to me. You might get lucky just snugging up all the bolts. But, if I were a betting man. I'd look for your leak where the pipe meets the manifold.

What he’s saying in addition to his fan/shroud recommendation you should make sure all the areas surrounding the radiator are blocked off so that the air has nowhere else to go but through the radiator.
