Anyone have more info on the 67-68 Fury police push bumper bar?

Thank you for questioning my claim. I hate to muddy the water with misinformation, which it seems I have. I think I first heard this claimed on this site many years ago and took it as told without questioning it's validity. Thinking about it, there's no way they made special guards for a sub...

    Seat upholstery L2B3

Shipping container leaves Usa about 3 weeks, I'd like to get material in that same container where Polara is. So no time to wait so long.

    Seat upholstery L2B3

I ordered the leather and vinyl at SMS. It was the exact as original. Took a while, but the process was very precise with checks ( first you order a sample, you agree, they make a leather sample and you have to agree) Ayer 6-8 months got it sent to Amsterdam the Netherlands. A local classic car...

    Seat upholstery L2B3

Strong suspicion that the base seat frames for all C-bodies of that model year range are the same thing. Just the padding and pattern/contours the covers are sewn in might vary. Just a suspicion, CBODY67

Will the 1969-1970 Fury upholstery fit these Polara seat frames? Is there a difference? Anybody knows?

    Rear axle bearing vendor choices

In theory, the Timkin bearings would be the better choice. USA Standard is a parts supplier and their bearings are probably made for them and packaged in USA Standard box. They could be just fine, but I would go with the Timkin bearings. Precision Bearing is probably OK, but I think the safer...

    Rear axle bearing vendor choices

I note that rockauto sells "USA Standard Gear" USA10047 and USA10046 bearing kits for about $175 (for both sides). I wouldn't be considering the 10046 kit because it's a green (ball) bearing. Dr. Diff sells a kit that includes steel inner gasket, a choice of Timkin or Precision bearings, for...

What did you name your car?

The only vehicle that has a name is my 2001 Cherokee. One time I had to have it towed home and my Wife said, Baby is home" when it got there. That name kind of stuck with it.

Anyone have more info on the 67-68 Fury police push bumper bar?

I used to have a connection with the Houston PD but sadly he was killed in a LOD incident a few years ago. He was working on documenting and preserving their vehicle history. If anyone has a connection with a Texas agency, they may be able to shed some light on this.
