    Mopar electronic conversion epic fail.

I wanted to and buy an MSD box. But I talked myself into a Mopar conversion system. My wife says the car is trying to tell me something as well. I believe there's a tiny issue causing a bigger problem.

    Mopar electronic conversion epic fail.

It's a pre-wired loom and the distributor lead only goes in one way. No to the plugs but I have pulled the secondary wore from the coil. When it sparks, it's weak and orange.

    What's the diff

I think they have covered seal part numbers for you, but I think you are looking for more info on what you have. The last 3 digits of the casting number is 742. That means it's a straight 1 3/4" pinion gear shaft. That's a good thing as it's the larger of the pinions that were available in...

    What's the diff

General Info: 8-3/4 is not unique to C-Body - info you find in FBBO, FABO, etc. will more than likely apply. Supplier: For ease and quality i would go to Doctor Diff (Drivetrain :: Mopar 8 3/4" ) - but I don't know if he ships outside US.

Update on the Imperial shiny bits

This is everything. If you saw the original thread you guys helped me identify some of the parts. I don't know about some of the new stuff. I'll be listing them for sale soon. Not trying to stick it to you guys. Just get you the parts. I have no idea where the Fratzog steering rim came from...

Anyone have more info on the 67-68 Fury police push bumper bar?

I spent about ten minutes digging and couldn't find anything to back up my claim. Other than that one picture, I've seen two other 1971 Newport royals equipped with those large protectors. I swear when I first saw them I was able to find some information about them, none now. Possibly they were...

Interesting. I noticed the "SS' being wrong also, as well as I doubt the dealership had to wait til December to sell their first Chevelle as the new car introductions were usually last of September/first of October BITD as I remember. [looks like there is a 69 Chevelle still in the showroom...

Any members in the Colorado Springs area?

I'm working on some logistics for possibly buying a vehicle in the Colorado Springs area. Just wondering if there are any members in the area that would be willing to do an inspection. John

Yes, 'they' are getting better about shadows and such. But as you say, many giveaways like illegible emblems and tags, cars not right and they just have a certain 'tone' to them thats a red flag.
