Dual paint codes on a 1970 Three Hundred

I don't hate it LOL. almost the Ramchargers or Sox and Martin (if some blue stripes added) look.

    AVS2 650 CFM on a 383-2, tuning help needed

unless someone changed things that 727 pump runs in neutral but not park. This is why you check fluid level in neutral. in gear works for setting your idle if you can do that safely.

    AVS2 650 CFM on a 383-2, tuning help needed

Agree, generally set idle with trans pump engaged; neutral works.

Cam Bearing Install Tool - Video

There are recurring threads on cam bearing install issues (one example; Issues with cam bearings and clearances. Cam will not fit. ) - This tool kit (don't know cost but it looks pricey!) talks about those problems (they are real and frequent, even for seasoned machine shops) and offers a...

    Rear axle bearing vendor choices

this looks like the "C" clip (retainer) from a 9.25. 8.75 uses nothing like this.

I need tips for installing transmission cooler lines...

The mild steel ones are pretty flexible, stainless not so much. Steel lines, just wrap those in something (so as not so scratch new paint) and pull them through. As long as you don't kink them you can bend to fit once in place. I struggled with stainless on fitment and then the fittings would...

    AVS2 650 CFM on a 383-2, tuning help needed

A friend and i both have AVS carbs on our Mopar and noticed the same hot start issues. I noticed my car likes a partial throttle when hot and i let it sit for >15 minutes (a good heat soak i guess). This is from a 1973 Chrysler owners manual:

    Stupid Key Question

sometimes new keys just need to hit the wire wheel for a second or two, to take off the rough edges. If they work i wouldn't worry about the pentastar orientation.

    1962 Chrysler 300 383 build

I would start by finding my engine builder and/or machine shop, bonus points if they speak Mopar. For example; I have lots of shops in the metro area I live in but traveled 100 ish miles to go to a shop that had a lot of Mopar experience and came with recommendations from local brethren. Also...

    1962 Chrysler 300 383 build

I strongly recommend you write out your goals AND BUDGET for the build and then talk to your engine builder or machine shop before you buy anything. As mentioned by @CBODY67 there's a lot of interconnectednessofitall going on here.

    What's the diff

General Info: 8-3/4 is not unique to C-Body - info you find in FBBO, FABO, etc. will more than likely apply. Supplier: For ease and quality i would go to Doctor Diff (Drivetrain :: Mopar 8 3/4" ) - but I don't know if he ships outside US.

    Mopar electronic conversion epic fail.

you're changing the ballast resistor each time? It's been 30 years since i had my last points car (all converted to electronic) but i thought the ECU wanted a different resistance at the ballast. Otherwise i'm with @MoPar~Man and suggest verifying timing. There could be mfr differences in those...

    Wiring in electric choke

It would and I believe you'll find this is wired as pictured in @vannth post for 4 wire ECU car. If i understand where you're coming from, i can see where it would be nice (esp. in hard start situations) - and maybe that how factory systems worked if the choke didn't start to heat-up/come off...

    Coolant overflow

not sure how you filled your cooling system. For filling/burping those systems i really appreciate the Lisle kit; Advance Auto Parts - Down for Maintenance In my opinion the system could have been a little over filled things heat up, expand, presto! Otherwise a big ole air pocket might have...

    68' 300 Exhaust

Is that 3" exhaust? Looks awesome! Also, i always thought TTI put the O2 bung in the collector - i see now you decide either collector or reducer/adaptor - is one better than the other? Application specific (Holley instruction?)?

    1967 Chrysler backup light

if neither work are you sure they're getting power? Might be something further up the line. (tho' you need to do something about those missing screws anyway). good luck!

    68' 300 Exhaust

Headers and "ease of maintenance" usually don't go together in my experience. For my Fury, I put some decent (HP) manifolds on and installed a TTI 2.5" dual exhaust kit almost 20 years ago. It's still holding up nicely and i've had it in and out a few times, about 45k miles. Buy once cry once...

    Hose connection?

you could hook a hose to one of those nipples and flush the heater core out and/or get a vacuum gauge (mity vac) hooked up and see if it's leaking or if someone just disconnected it (probably leaking so don't get your hopes too high).

    RPM intake clearance

Looks like RPM (Air Gap) is about 1.5" taller. Put some Play Doh (tm) on top of the air cleaner and close hood. that will tell you how much clearance you have.
