    SRT SEATS

On the 68 there’s down ward recess on each side by the door so when you put them in the sit crooked. I tried leveling it out with 5/8 strut lock and it fixed the seat but now they sit a bit to hi for where I want them. I’m 6,4. I’m trying to figure out how I can lower the seats on the side...

    Stupid Key Question

It might be that when there is not a stamping on a Chrysler blank, then the shape of the head comes into play. Chrysler seemed to use the same blanks for a few model years, as to the head shape. There are some nuances to the GM key system, including "Valet Keys" and the cylinders they fit...

Cam Bearing Install Tool - Video

I was in trade school in the late 70's. My engine teacher, Mr. Gommel, told us, "If you need to do cam bearings, come see me first. It is VERY easy to do them wrong". I have yet to do any, but I would be VERY careful to get it right. I doubt Mr. Gommel is still around.

    Stupid Key Question

I had a 76 Pontiac with a VERY WORN ignition key. It wasn't until I worked at the Pontiac dealer that I knew about cutting keys with the "gun". After that it worked like a charm and is now my preferred method.

    Stupid Key Question

I didn't know Chrysler did that. I know GM did. Good to know!

    NOT MINE 1970 Cop car

Very interesting. It has a radio, which we did not until the later 1980's. We also had Fords in 1970.
