Shock recommendation for added ride height?

Guys, thanks all for the info. Yes, CBODY67, I do have a Factory Service Manual, it came with the car. There is a spring/suspension shop near me that added leafs to my F250 diesel when I mounted a plow on it. Will take the T&C there, at a minimum they will do the new shocks. Thanks again...

Shock recommendation for added ride height?

I'm wanting to raise the ride height on my 77 T&C. Done some searching and see where gas shocks can add up to 2.5" to 3" height. My shocks appear to be pretty old and rusty so I will replace them regardless. I've seen some older Mopar C bodies that apparently had spring shackles factory...

The green bean 1977 Chrysler Town & Country

Would be interesting to know how the mechanic came to possess the vehicle. Maybe he had lien rights. Perhaps an elderly owner took it in for work and met his/her demise. Heirs didn't want the trouble of selling it through the estate so they struck a deal...just speculation. I assume you have...

Pretty sure it's the same one. I found it on Hemmings. The seller was the son of original owner. Took it out of storage, fixed the rear tail light damage and went thru it thoroughly. New tires, brakes, gas tank, carb, etc, etc. It runs and drives great. Yours looks great. Really like...

    Ambulance video, 1966

Would love to know the story on the black wagon on the RR tracks. Pretty sharp. Interesting that it has poverty caps. Thought most if not all had wheel covers back in the day.

Just joined, happy to be here!

Mantonas, The wagon looks very solid. I'm probably in the minority but I really like our wagons with black walls. Mar

Good to know about the trim tag. I should have known that. I remember an episode of Graveyard Cars where they decoded a B body. BTW, Mr. C your green T&C is very handsome. One of my favorite colors for these wagons.

Did an on line search, there were several colors listed under the "brown" category. My best guess is one called "Saddle".

Hi Cuda, The interior is dark brown vinyl in perfect shape. I'd say the wagon is pretty well optioned...but no sun roof or power antenna. No 8 track but does have am/fm. Probably some other options it doesn't have. No window sticker. Runs and drives great. It needs a good cleaning...

Well, I purchased it from the son of the original owner. 66k miles. Was his mom's grocery getter. The family put the car in storage (they owned several warehouses) in 1985. The interior is pristine. Exterior is pretty good, hood needs a repaint and there is surface rust along the rockers...
