    The vacuum switch is mounted at the base of the steering column, if the parking brake is on it is automatically released when the trans is shifted out of park. The kick panel vents are mounted just under the top of the dash pad above the hvac controls and are manual.

    That canister on my cars is for the parking brake release. I bought a new master from Craig @mobileparts less than 1 year ago.

    This would have been painted with enamel and no clear coat originally. Faded and oxidized original paint can be color sanded and revived to look new.

    This is the manifold I used on my ‘67 Imp. It was the only casting that cleared the steering column.

    Threaded stud towards the front under the mirror itself goes down into the door. It has a nut on it accessible from inside the door after removing the door panels.

    The large outer ring and the backplate are both chrome plated solid brass so the whole thing has some weight and the whole assembly was meticulously crafted. Also note that the blue fabric has padding behind it just under the part that’s visible so that it has some depth.
