Which AC compressor. RV2 or Sandon on my 66 New Yorker

As to R12 vs. R134a...you can get a Sanden compressor the is rated for R12 use.My old 1992 Dakota (RIP) used R12 with that style compressor, which is still available. There are R12 models in the Sanden replacement catalog also.

Hit it with weld thru primer and do it up before.Make note of where all the voids are that aren't accessible and mist in Fluid Film to stop rust. https://www.fluid-film.com/

TFX International Specialized Vehicle Transport - WATCH OUT FOR THIS COMPANY WHOSE MOTTO IS " WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE "

Vehicle transport is a sketchy business at best. The pickup I purchased down in Boca Raton, FL disappeared for 2 weeks and I thought for sure that it had been stolen.Even though the experience ultimately turned out OK...that two weeks was awful.Good luck in your battle with these bastards.:mob:

    Air conditioner

There is plenty of R12 in the small cans out there and it is legal to possess it...even sell and ship it. I just sold my stash to a guy at great profit to me.R12 is the only way to go in your case.

    1970 Plymouth Fury Dash Pad

Should I ask them to not put that indent in the foam of the dash or just get rid of the woodgrain trim doodad? Now that I think of it...what is the proper way to transfer the VIN tag from the original dash to the new one?
