1968 New Yorker Valuation and opinions needed

Thanks JW, I had the front seat re-upholstered, and the 727 had to be rebuilt. I farmed those two tasks out. I rebuilt the brake system completely. Also replaced all hoses, wires, pumps, radiator, master cylinder, carb rebuild, tune up, and tires. But that's stuff I did myself and enjoyed...

    What'cha think?

I'll use a term the kids use these days......keep it "orige". I'm not a fan of customizing cars, I prefer them as they came from the factory. The guys who designed these American cars (Elwood Engel, Virgil Exner, Harley Earl, Bill Mitchell, Ned Nichols, Larry Shinoda, Dick Teague, Bunkie...

    My wife's 67 Newport Custom

I wonder why there was no "Newport Custom" script on the c-pillar of your wife's car. The photos of the car being prepped show that there weren't any holes in the pillar for the emblem. Interesting.

    Who sells leaf springs?

Thanks gents as always. I plan to simply replace the left rear shackle and leave it at that. I ordered one from Parts Geek, but it was incorrect. THEN, I left hot Tampa with my wife for a 3-week vacation to northern California. Here's a shot from a breakfast place we ate at in San Francisco...

    Who sells leaf springs?

Truth be told, it's just the bushings on one of the rear shackles that's bad. I'm seeing them on ebay for around $33.

    Who sells leaf springs?

Hello fellas, the bushings on my leaf springs (67 Newport Custom Fasttop) need to be replaced. I called the shop that did my NYer front end, and the VERY knowledgeable C-body guy there advises just to get new springs. He says there would be too many hours getting the old bushings out, and...

NOT MINE '62 Chrysler tail lights ALERT $200

There is set of '62 Chrysler tail lights on Facebook Marketplace out of Brooksville, FL (north of Tampa) for $200. The set looks pretty good, the red lenses appear to be in good shape. I'm just alerting my C-body brothers of this, in case somebody needs these tail lights. I'm not too good at...

Tech tip: How to align ur own suspension at home

I'd tell you how I aligned my '67 Newport, which tracks perfectly these last five years, with no uneven tire wear, but surely some jackwagon would raise a fuss and tell me I'm wrong. Remember when I successfully touched up the bad spots on the black carpet with a wide Sharpie marker?
