Where are all the fuselage brake calipers?

Did you replace the flexible line? I've never seen one fail this way. I have only seen them fail where they will not release, but stranger things have been known to happen....

Where are all the fuselage brake calipers?

What MONC440 said. I rebuilt mine. Easy peasy, and good to go. However, if you are doing a drum-to-disc conversion and don't have the factory calipers from the donor vehicle, finding calipers will be difficult as you have discovered. If that is the case, I wish I could help you.

    The unknown control arm

Thanks for the photo, BigMoparJeff. I remember now, as my Dodge Aspen work was last done in 1992. That illustration you posted shows those huge rubber isolators on the torsion bars that I now remember. Plus, if one looks closely at the original poster's photo, the traditional torsion bar can...

    The unknown control arm

For kicks, I went to the NAPA website and pretended I was looking for an upper ball joint for a Dodge Aspen. The ball joint that came up is.......10162. Maybe that helps solve the mystery at least a little bit?

    The unknown control arm

That control arm looks like the ones that were on my 1979 Aspen. IF I am correct, I would think that car would have the transverse torsion bars too.... Do you have any more photos?

1970 Fury III disc brake caliper dragging

Do the simple stuff first. Both Fred A, and volksworld give excellent advice! Start with the line, and if that does not work, rebuild the caliper. Parts are available, and not a difficult task. You can do it!

    BigSexy Got a New Lid

So I picked up this 69 fury back in March of 2023. I rescued it from a 30-year slumber. This year, I decided to make it a little more mine. I went completely through the front suspension, replaced the rear leafs, customized the rims. For the coupe' de grace, BigSexy got a Black top. What a...

    Stalling Fury.

Yup; I too have rebuilt BBDs. They are simple, and you can do it! Also, I had the same thing happen to me...twice....with my BBD. The problem ended up (both times), a piece of junk somehow got lodged between the needle and seat, thus holding the needle ever so so slightly off of the seat...

    Leed Brakes conversion

What Big John posted here. I am the guy that started the post "A Wrapup of Goodbye and Good Riddance". I bought the Fury with the previous owner's leeds conversion, and tore it off. I hope you still have your old parts too. In the meantime, start looking for a stock conversion.

Mopar Show and Swap at the Packard Proving Grounds (Metro Detroit)

Anybody in the Detroit area going to this event? I will be there. I am kinda new to C-bodys (I'm a Fusey guy and former Dodge A100 van guy), but would enjoy meeting other C-body folks. I will have my 69 Fury convertible, and maybe mine and my son's Lemons rally 70 Dart. If you haven't been...
