    300-H HURST nerd stuff...

Went back to the junkyard Hurst yesturday. The quarter window caught my attention now that it wasn't covered in ice. CLEAR GLASS! Making it one of the few Hurst to come off the line without AC and a real shame it ended up here. Me personally, I would only consider owning a non AC Hurst or a...

Sport Fury GT or Chrysler 300 Hurst

I saved it nick of time last year as the previous owner was about 80% the way to yanking the drivetrain from it. The original owner was a nuclear engineer for the military and order this car to tow his two racecars back in the day!

    Pics of 69-73 C bodies

I have not taken a close look yet but if they're good I have cars that need them as well. It should be getting drop off later today at my friend's place.

Sport Fury GT or Chrysler 300 Hurst

The elusive "Newport 440" package would be a T-code. The U-code TNT 440 could be ordered on any Chrysler except wagons & Imperial. This 4dr sedan is as rare as a 6bbl and the only one I know of that survived!

Sport Fury GT or Chrysler 300 Hurst

SFGT for me BUT a "lowly" Newport with a "Hurst drivetrain" is how you'd really catch my eye.

    1970 SF GT 440 6 pack

Iirc, the number is up to 9 known cars in existence along with less then a hands worth of VINs such as the block @Fury Pursuit fairly recently found.

My unicorn? A '70 U-code Newport convertible. If anyone has a lead on or even heard of one let me know!

1970 Newark "F" Assembly Plant Cars

Thank you. Now I wonder if any U-code fleet cars came out of there? 1970 was a pretty rare year for the HP 440 cop cars. Only a handful of departments from what I've seen actually got the E86 engine that year.

convertible fuselage header and dutchman panel removal

This is a Dart convertible rocker but same idea. The thick C-channel inside is convertible specific.

convertible fuselage header and dutchman panel removal

My apologies for not being clearer. I mean the plates that box in the forward leaf hanger bulkhead. Factory torque box: Without torque box: I'd be interested in those added plates cutout at the factory seams so it can be welded into another car if it's in good solid condition. Thanks!

1970 Newark "F" Assembly Plant Cars

Curious if the Newark Assembly plant ever produced a fleet/cop car in 1970? If you have ANY and all 1970 Newark VINs (0Fxxxxxx) please share them along with what model car they go to if not the full VIN. I'm trying to put together an informal registry for least known C-body assembly plant...

C-Body Holy Grail Restoration Starts Here; 1970 6BBL GT

Hey Trev, I don't know if it ever got corrected but the actual date code for the road wheels is on the backside of the wheels on the outer lip area, I believe in line with the tire stem. Every road wheel I've seen has had that 869 code on the inside stamped in them. This is the original...
