I am sorry, no bad intention from my side with the "piecemeal". I am used to it with some other guys I exchange tags on certain models (C500:Daytonas,Birds, A12) etc as each of us knows what is meant.
I do not have a door sticker etc
Carsten
it was probably buillt in february with that sequence number but has a march doorsticker.
Here is cm23u0c230908 with a 6/70 doorsticker that was probably assembled around 30th april/1st of may (430/501)

difficult to answer.
The car was probably buillt at Jefferson plant around 422.
Average cars would have been finished the same day, getting a doorsticker 4/70.
Again not always matching the SPD but the actual month being buillt. There is usally no big time gap.
After assembly the regular...
VIN 0C226726 should have a SPD of roughly 422 (when it rolled down Jefferson assembly lane). Its built was probably finalised may/june. So the original door sticker should read 5 or 6/70.
Even though all Hurst fender tags say SPD 125 the original doorsticker would show the actual month of...
I don't want to mix up this thread but the "Q" in the VON does not mean it was a regular 300. A "Q" can be a Y28 public relations car or a Y22 Chrysler Lease car/Executive car

232859 and 232866 are the two highest VINs I currently have pictures of, too.
Looking at their VONs they were made in the same batch (j99938 and j99945).
Sequence number 2328xx should have a genuine SPD of around 505/506.
Then sent to Hurst and probably finished 6 or 7/70.

they were not imported offically. Chrysler Corp didn't sell here cars after WWII till 1988 when they returned.
Only a few big independed car dealers offered some cars. It was just grey market.
Known dealers were in Hamburg, Frankfurt, Berlin and Düsseldorf in example. The amount of sold cars is...
the AMAG plant assembled Plymouth Forwardlookers. Later on A-bodies.
No B- & E-bodies were ever assembled in Schinznach at the AMAG plant.
Those got assembled in the Netherlands (De Nekaaf, Rotterdam).
That doesn't mean they wouldn't have gotten an AMAG tag if the cars were sold in switzerland...
