NOT MINE 1970 polara 37k miles -not mine-

Pretty nice car. Rust looks minimal. Interior is beautiful. 318s can be replaced if you desire more power. Can you find another 70 Dodge 2dr for sale right now with that nice of an interior? I think it'll move. But the ugly *** ford ranger wheels gotta go!

NOT MINE 1970 Dodge Polara Wagon - $12,500 - Huntsville, AL

I'm sure it was the old original Y pipe. Broken somewhere between the engine and the muffler making it sound like crap. Thats normally the case in my experience.

@ayilar the fender tag is still there. You can see the edge of it.

I do not have any these days. Just what's on the cars. Easy enough to source them though.

71 Polara resin model, and 70 Monaco diecast

There is a guy on FB that does model shows and has a large number of resin C bodies in 1/25th scale. I'll find his info and post it shortly

    A lil ? 68 300 with a 70 383. Needs tlc

Big John hit the nail on the head and pretty much covered what we discussed yesterday. That's the route I'd go personally so the engine doesn't come out, and the car sits waiting to be back together.

    A lil ? 68 300 with a 70 383. Needs tlc

What are your goals for the car? You want a beast or something that gets up and goes better than the 2bbl 383? What you already have can be made to run pretty good, reliably without much hassle.

    New Member, New Polara

The person decided it only needed the valley pan is MA Mopar. That's how it's supposed to be. Sounds like maybe it wasn't rebuilt...or maybe a quick rering and bearings if anything.

    O MY

Until it's time to put something with the distributor in front, or perhaps...something with no distributor at all!

Love the 71! Refreshing to see one in a bright color vs the mundane colors we normally see.

Gearing change... rear end or transmission?

Think of the mileage with an OD 4 speed though... Id say besides changing tire size, maybe down the line swap in the later OD trans. Otherwise leave it be.

    The unknown control arm

Yeah that's the Mopar FMJ suspension and K frame. Pretty popular swap for hot rods I was told. Ask for parts for a 1978 Lebaron and you'll get everything ya need.
  16. 71Polara383

    Help !need rear frame rails!

You will need to find a donor car. 65-68 should be pretty much the same. 69-73 could maybe be modified to work, I think the leaf spring/shackle area is slightly different on the fuselage C bodies.

    Mind blown…

Car was rotten under the top. Probably had other issues too. Send it out with a Bang. No harm done. He had it listed for sale and guess who showed up with $?

Restoration Cost Advice - 69 Imperial Coupe

30k is plenty if you are doing stuff yourself. If you gotta pay a shop to build the engine and trans. Pay a shop to do the body work and paint. Etc. It's gonna eat your budget.
  19. 71Polara383

    Suspension> rear end rebuild.

15x7 Cop wheels or 15x7 M body wheels would work great.

Frank B. Rhodes plans for Chrysler.

I've been harassed by Security at the Belvidere plant too. Bottom line. Mopar doesn't care about us because Mopar is dead.
