So the parts Waldron remade and hand delivered did not fix my concern. I compared it to the NOS muffler and NOS tailpipe and you can see theirs (left) is longer than the NOS Chrysler parts (right). Sadly they were informed of this and still remade the exhaust incorrectly.

The new master cylinder is in. Now I am getting the rear brakes done, axle shafts will get new wheel bearings on Monday. Then to reassemble and on to the next thing… Reseal the trans pan I just resealed that is now leaking instead of seeping. Then radiator hoses and clamps next, exhaust again...

    I have a confession to make…

The car went on a 360 mile road trip on the weekend through Milwaukee. It was super close to overheating in the stop and go of the big city. I’m going to install a Flowkooler water pump in anticipation of Carlisle, and the Belvidere Happening. The rear brakes are also getting thin so new shoes...

It’s originality, it’s like a big aluminum radiator or Mickey Thompson valve covers. It just isn’t right on an Imperial.

Looking for a centre cap for a wheel rim which came with my imperial 1971

It is not a separate part from the rest of the center cap, in other words your center cap is broken and has the center punched out. I know because I have the same ones in my Fury.

I got the original radio in and working, but the speakers are still a mess. They have been butchered. I need a 4”x10”, 2 6”x9” and 2 of the small round ones. Next is to replace the clock.

Penny had been backed into by the neighbor across the street from me. I will link the thread for those who have not followed. My neighbor ruined my plans Tonight was a big night for Penny. I got her AutoTemp system fully operational! I swapped in a known good vacuum harness and all the modes...

    My neighbor ruined my plans

It was raining today but I went and got her. Her first show under my ownership is tomorrow. I invite anyone local in Chicago to come out to Cozzi Corner and see her in person.
