Understood, but keep in mind it's not about you and the car anymore, it's about giving as much info as you can to potential buyers so they can make an informed decision. And the missing driveshaft hadn't been mentioned before.

That's looks to be an incorrect trans for the car. A '65 should have a ball & trunnion at the output of the trans. The hole in that output shaft looks too small for a bolt to fasten the B&T flange to the shaft (if that's even how it is made, IDK). If the car has a '66-up driveshaft with slip...

Thanks for capturing that link for us! Ayilar was likely asking for closeups of the circled areas, and prospective buyers will probably want to know how badly rusted those areas are, can they be poked thru with a pencil or not, etc.

It appears it just needs some sheetmetal work and subframe repair. That would not deter some of us? Is there other rust to report, though?

At $24k USD, IMO it's overpriced, 300Ls don't seem to pull that much (yet). And certainly not this one, with: the wrong aircleaner (likely due to the newer Edelbrock carb) and horrible plug-wire routing (already mentioned) terrible engine detailing - you can see someone did spot-touchups on...

He's askign for a picture of the tag(s) that would be located just out of this pic. They are about the size of a small index card and have a bunch of letters/numbers for the option codes on the car.

That looks like a good deal but needs more inspection for sure. At least the price is aligned with the currently-provided info.
