Confused about slab-era upper control arm splash shield

 the DMT 65-68 is the correct fit one, i also have them. I suppose the OEM one you traced out was just a rogue Fusie part that somewhere along the line got the reputation as a 67 slab part. ;)

Are you going to add a way to drain water from it in case you drive it in the rain?

NOT MINE 1968 Dodge polara CHP Interceptor $11,500

This car did run several times on eBay last months and usually highest bid was around 6k‘s, but never met the reserve. Aside from the question what the right price might be, I find it interesting that this is IIRC a DRUM car, though discs where available at the time.

B block cable tach drive distributor

Its the drive on the dist itself thats different, most use a hex of different sizes, of course Mopar has for the best description like a tang/flag looking end. The tachs are all the same hex from the ones I have had. MP, SW Moroso The MP electronic is a great unit, really fast curve and of...

Interesting. "Big rigs" of the sky. Notice something though. The Antonov (casualty of Ukraine/Russia war. so its gone :() and the Boeing are older designs with six and four engines, respectively. The Airbus, a relatively newer design, gets the job done with only TWO engines. Their...

ECI c - body brake kit

Reviving this thread 'cuz more info...from what I can tell judging by the pics on both their site and what saylor and others have uploaded, ECI seems to use the Centric/FVP 12162025 rotors for the 1979-1981 Pontiac Firebird. These are the rear rotors, and of the selection that rockauto offers...

Confused about slab-era upper control arm splash shield

For my '67 300, I ordered the following from DMT: https://www.detroitmuscletechnologies.com/mopar-c-body-65-68-chrysler-a-arm-splash-shield-set/ They matched the originals well. The two big pieces fit over the upper control arm, and the two smaller pieces fit around the front sway bar. Hope...

B block cable tach drive distributor

That is not a functional mechanical tach drive unit. It is missing the tack drive internals : / Buyer beware If I was going to run a tach drive distributor I'd pick up an aluminum DC rb tach drive distributor and run the spacer. It's easier to work on the engine with a little extra clearance...

B block cable tach drive distributor

There is a Mallory tach drive dist. on Ebay that fits low block engines. It needs some rebuilding but looks like it could be made to work. Getting a cable to fit it might be a challenge.

    C-Body Wheel and Tire Survey

The wheel itself would not go on over the axle flange that sticks out; even without the center cap installed. I did not have any road wheel centers to try using with that wheel. Since the wheels had to go to the machine shop anyway, I had the Cragar center caps dialed in so they are a push fit...

Sharing my latest trial modification for true cold air intake

    High performance exhaust manifold coatings??

I paid someone else to do it. I wanted to oven cure the coating before putting it on and did not have anyplace big enough to do that myself. No primer is needed but its crucial to do the prep properly. Since the manifolds were already ran previously the powder coating place off gassed them...
