Did you sleep on the package shelf when you were a kid?

I grew up in a wagon, so no package tray naps for me, plenty of other places to curl up though. I used to love sleeping in the cot "upstairs" in our '69 Westfalia, not while driving though. I can't remember the reason, something about safety or something. I think that was just an excuse though...

    1970 Seat Foam

Hey Snotty, I know your car was a 383-4 originally, was it silver too? And by the looks of it, you opted to not install the buttons on the seats? Looking great so far, I can't wait to see the outcome!

Looking at your pictures it appears that perhaps the new starter has a longer snout?

    Bastardized 1959 "Coronet" build

I agree, the louvers look out of place, a little too mad maxish even if they're painted pastel turquoise! Odd that he chose to point the dual antennas straight up, however this is the definition of a "custom." The amount of modifications to the rear end and bumper is a feast for the eyes! I...

Admin help - help find a thread

The link worked for me. Possibly a problem with your browser? Or something, I'm not much of a computer guy.

    Now what do I do?

Pointy, solid counter punch, tapping to turn loose. Move up to a small sharp chisel if no success. Both of these ideas have the potential to break away more of the plug. You could also try epoxying a square drive in there, let it cure and cross your fingers.

    Caliper not releasing

Once you've manually retracted the piston, how much space do you have between the rotor and the pads? Smaller cars have similar calipers but are not as wide. With older rotors and pads, I would think you could get them on, but this might happen. If you have the old caliper around you can compare.

NOT MINE 70 DODGE MONACO $9500 PROVOST ALBERTA

For what it's worth, I was thinking along the same lines as Peter. Which apparently isn't the case.

    NOT MINE 1970 Chrysler 300 440pc CA$12,500

I don't know, that looks like a brand spanking' new interior to me. Body is amazing! Paint is great, the bumper to hood rubber looks like new. I believe this could be a true survivor, minus the wheels and tires. Engine must have been stuck after sitting so long that it required a rebuild? I'm...

NOT MINE Custom 1960 dodge PIONEER Gotta share

That has to be the most confused car I've ever seen. They really should've chosen some more appropriate side mirrors. In my imagination - Ok sir your car is almost ready. We've modified everything except for the trunk, that still works as intended. Customer - can you make it open backwards?

NOT MINE 1971 New Yorker 4 door, Rushford MN, $2150

That price does seem a little too fair. Tread carefully (pun intended.) They probably should've cropped that one pic. Possibly "patches" are the new "hose?"

NOT MINE 1969 Chrysler Imperial LeBaron - 2 Door Coupe - $5,000 (Jefferson Park)

That's not gonna last long. I'm really curious as to what the other car he bought with this one was, given that this is the one he chose not to keep, the other one must be even more desirable. Does anyone know if these cars came from the factory with the plastic splash guard behind the valance...
