1959 Plymouth Fury rear end swap/conversion

Rear end out of a 66 New Yorker. Now in our 57 Dodge Royal. The holes in the spring perches had to be opened up 1/4" to get the pin in the leaf spring to line up. Other than that it is a direct bolt in. The tires are 235/75/15 9n a 7" rim.

    67 Newport Custom interior

1965 Monaco. I took my seats to a local upholstery shop and they used the original seat covers as patterns for the new ones. The originals were all white. I decided to add the maroon border. I actually painted the car to match the seats. They are all leather. It can be a little uncomfortably...

Rear seat back on sport fury

I had just put the steering wheel on the car. The original horn ring is now on the car. A lot of Monacos came with vinyl roofs. This car wasn't 1 of them. The roof is actually GM Snowflake metallic. I liked the look so I had mine painted. The car was originally yellow. Then burgundy, with the...

Regarding front seat belts in plastic receiver of 65 Fury

Unbolt it from the floor as a unit. Then pull the belt out of the shroud. That is the easy part. If you have the automatic retractors you must find the end with a small hole in it. A paper clip or cotter pin must be placed in the hole before removing them from the belt. If not the spring unwinds...

Rear seat back on sport fury

I am guessing you are referring to the package tray. If it is like my Monaco you remove the seat bottom first. There are 2 bolts that hold the seat at the bottom. The seat then slides down and out. To reinstall just reverse the procedure.

    Felt for back window

That looks like someone went to the local fabric store and got a piece of material and convered the package tray. You can do the same or just remove what is there. The hardboard with the speaker grates in them is how it came from the factory. People usually covered them with material when...
