I came across this a few days ago, I reached out to a friend of mine that's a member of the Fire dept. to see if it was a controlled burn or lightning strike as this house has been vacant for some time.
As it stands today, the diner has been rebuilt and the garage is now an Ice cream stand. In it's day this was a stop for the stage coach where they would change out the horses, and there was a spare stage coach in the barn out back.
It's the coat and pants Firefighters wear, looked like a set on the wall behind your car, (black w/ stripes.) PS, great car, the color really sets it off.
I remember years back when I restored my 70 Challenger I purchased an NOS rear valance, it came with that bracket, my body guy removed it. much more difficult after it's painted.
An amazing color combo. A great restoration but a few nitpicks. Missing engine call out on hood, woodgrain inserts on interior door panels, and the area behind the grill should be black. None of these are a deal breaker but should be addressed.
The Necco Co. also made the Skybar one of my favorites so I was pretty bummed out until, I woman from Sudbury Ma. purchased the machinery she now has a Skybar store on Route 20 in Sudbury. Oh yea I've been there. :D
