    A/C Compressor RPM Limit?

I have 12v to the low pressure switch, but not out. (Was this switch added/required for the R134 conversion?) I know it's not OEM. I don't have the tools/gauges required to work on the A/C so I will need to take it to my buddy's house for further diagnosis. I was just trying to understand that...

    A/C Compressor RPM Limit?

Does the A/C compressor have an RPM limit? 69 Chrysler 300 with functioning OEM A/C (R134) until recently. Just started to trouble shoot, but one of the changes I recently made was changing the transmission shift point from the stock 4000rpm to 5000rpm to better align with the cam/engine...

    Acceleration problems

In Post 15 you adjusted the timing, in Post 17 you ask what should the timing be. Huh? The Green & White sticker on the driver side inner fender gives you the Idle and Timing recommendations. (Most likely 7 1/2 BTC, 600 RPM) These are typically lower and less aggressive of settings that will...

    Engine build

Based on your tire diameter the 2600rpm stall converter may still be slipping when driving at normal highway speeds with the 3.23 rear end. I agree that a 750cfm may be a bit on the small side. Spicer Engine RPM Calculator

Loosen the belts on the A/C compressor and see if you can turn the compressor pulley. Then see if you can start it with the belts loosened.

69 Chrysler 300 Rear Housing Removal

I have a 69 Chrysler 300 with A/C. Heat, DEF, A/C, MAX A/C all work correctly. The only problem is that when running the A/C some of the condensation/water leaks out of the rear housing and into the car. I usually just throw a towel under it to absorb the water. Both firewall drains are clear...

    Torsion Bar Bolt/Swivel Adjustment

You're right I did. Then after I took it apart I realized it was the swivel threads that I was seeing. And all of this because I "had to" install headers. It would be cheaper and simpler to just walk outside and shoot myself in the foot. lol
