Early Chrysler Blue Engine Paint - VHT Engine Enamels SP126

Well, with all due respect, I think that is the issue. After following all the posts over the years about engine color and looking at a lot of the examples that members have shown, it doesn't look like you can buy the correct color off of the shelf. A lot of guys I know who are restoring a car...

Early Chrysler Blue Engine Paint - VHT Engine Enamels SP126

Don't know why this is so difficult. Can't you just take a part down to a good paint store and they will use a spectrometer ?? to mix the correct color? I have had these for over 25 years left over from a case. Seems to be the correct color. CG

    New guy!

Just curious why you think you might bust the glass? Depending on the issue that you are having, there is no reason to take out the window glass or the regulator if you are just going to replace or repair the PW motor. Just type in Power Window in the Search box on the top right of the page and...

Hey all, new to wrenching, total greenhorn

Well: That's a tall order depending on how long it has been sitting in the field. 6 months? 6 years? I am no expert but, first I would make sure the motor is not stuck. See if it turns over by hand. Then you need to get some clean fuel in a remote tank, (maybe an outboard motor tank or similar)...

Airtemp decal location - '68 Fury wagon

Just looked at my factory one, raise yours the height of the decal and move it back about a 1/2 inch. On my convertible the bottom left corner is almost obscured by the post. CamShaft

Power window track roller assembly needed! or parts help needed?

Yes I did. As it is impossible to reduce the running surface of the inside of the plastic wheel, the only other option was to make the guide track larger by 1/16th of an inch. I mounted the lower window frame into a vice and using a large flat file, gently filled 1/32 of an inch off of both the...

Rear seat belt configuration, 67 300 drop top!

Been a while since I posted here, lots of stuff going on has kept me from finishing details on my 67 300. Finally got all the rebuilt power window motors re and re'd. All the switches back from Devinism, and a ton of work repairing and strengthening my door cards, where pretty much all of the...

NOT MINE Estate 1967 Chrysler from Granddaughter of WP Chrysler

I agree that this is a really nice car, (boy would I love to have door panels in that condition) but it is somewhat surprising that a close relation of WPC wouldn't have loaded this to the nuts on someone else's advice? No power windows, or seats, or trunk, or antenna? How bout a TNT package...

    Windlace/windcord installation

I am doing mine right now on my 67 300 vert. Bit of trial and error to get them right. You need to take the door cards off, and you will see that the "leg" on the windlace, (the flat part of the cloth about 5/8th inch wide), is gripped in the "jaws" of the clips that hold them. I found the clips...
