I have this Rod from a "66 Imp.I parted out.

It appears Vans is the only supplier for the 64-66 Imps. I filled my new vans tank and leaks at the filler neck area. The new tank will not accept the original seal style,Tank has an internal "O' Ring that is the problem, It's Not an original design.

I will reuse my old sender .The inlet for the neck has an internal "O" ring instead of the OEM style rubber Donut seal.

Anyone buy a tank from Van's for their 64-66 Imperial ? Wondering about Fitment.

Make sure your air cleaner lid is tight,and check all hoses for leaks/brittle.

Lares did my Gear and a P/S Pump on my 66' Imp years ago.They did a Great Job. BAP did a Steering Gear for my Dodge A-100 and i was not happy,It Had more play in it after they "rebuilt it " I got refunded from my CC company.

Maybe a Rebuilder of Knee Action Shocks.

I understand they are reusable.

The rear panel,under rear window (Dutchman panel) looks like the seams are filled in with bondo. It is a removable piece, except on convertibles.
