    235/75/15 would have been the preferred size, yours are tall. You have to compress the shock to get it out.

    8hp is 9" tall at the back, very different than a TF. It's the only measurement I've taken on them but Holley now makes the trans cross member cutout and weld in kit that supposedly handles it.

    The 5.7 with a 3spd trans in a heavy car won't be all you're hoping for. You need the 5 or 8 spd.
