I don't know the answer to that question, I just know it's no longer needed.

    AC Issues

There is a fuse for the blower; check that first. If the compressor is not coming on it's usually due to a low Freon level. But check that fuse first.

    Epic Whoops thread.

Hate to be nit-picky, but that's a self-propelled artillery piece, not a tank.

NOT MINE 1960 Chrysler 300f $1 Listed 3 days ago in Omaha, NE

As has been written, they were the vents for the AC. You reversed them for defroster. These appeared through 1964, 1965 being the first year for vents in the dash. My '62 had them as well.

    Let's Play a game: What's this Part?

Big John is right; those parts are on my ragtop. Since I've been redoing the interior I've seen them.

Would all of this be the same on a '70? (I've been having BC issues for over three years.)

Sorry for the delay. His name is Reuben, he owns Tru Auto Trim in Fresno. I'll send you his number privately. He's doing great work!!

    1970 Seat Foam

No, 383-2. Yes, it was EA4 Silver, or "Platinum Metallic" as Chrysler called it. If I can ever afford it, it will return to that color. The covers are from Legendary Auto Interiors, and that's the way they came, without the buttons. Mine didn't have them anyway. Picture from when I first...

    1962 Brake Booster

There was a company on Oregon who rebuilt them; had my '62 booster rebuilt there. That was over 30 years ago though, but, if you do a search....

    1970 Seat Foam

Time to update my story. As I said, I found a guy who would do my foam, Reuben of Tru Auto Trim of Fresno. While he's been working on my seats, I've been doing the carpet. I was glad to find n rust under the old carpet, just some crap I had to clean up form the leaking top pump over 20 years...

Whoa, whoa, no! Those are Chevy size! You need 5x4.5.

Will these fit?? Answered, no, they are Chevy rims. Thanks

I have 245/60R15 15x7 all around on my '70 Newport. They fit well. The 8s might be a little tight on the back, but since they're not turning left or right, shouldn't be a problem. Let's see what others say.

Want to refoam my 68 newport convertible bucket seats

No one offered foam for my '70 Newport; some might be the case for your '68. I found a low-rider shop here in Fresno that is making them for me, and putting on the covers I got from Legendary Auto Interiors. Looking forward to having them finished. In the meantime, I'm replacing the carpet in...
