    Is this Monaco worth $2500?

Good looking car for sure, but something doesn't look quite correct with the interior, like the steering wheel and door cards. Could be that they were missing before the restoration and the interior from another car was used? Don't want to hijack this thread so maybe another thread in the for...

    1968 Monaco 500 New Owner!

Tires are Hankooks. Here is my Polara with road wheels and old style centers used from 70 until 73. This is the Monaco with the later style centers. I'm not sure what year Ma Mopar discontinued the road wheels.

    1968 Monaco 500 New Owner!

From one 68 Monaco 500 owner to another, nice score. WRT wheels and tires mine rides on 235/75/15s all around with the road wheels and later centers.

    Is this Monaco worth $2500?

Another factor is that wide trim. It is unobtanium. Hopefully it is in decent shape.

    Is this Monaco worth $2500?

Just skimming through this thread for the first time and not seeing a lot of discussion about the condition of the 383. That should be a major consideration in anticipating the future cost of getting it mechanically sound. I'm hoping to see updates of you working to bring this one back to life.

How Often Do You See This?

A young guy, actually a VW guy, giving some love to an old unique Mopar.

Let me know your thoughts, tire sizes

I agree with the above post. In terms of looks my own view is lower is not better since my preference is staying close to factory specs. I wouldn't go any less than the 70s but if your looking for that lowered boy racer look of the 60s profile, go for it. In the end, if the car looks good to you...

I Guess I'm Semi Unretired Now

Nice to see you doing what you love and are very good at. One thing I never understood is leaving a car all rusty. I think they generously call it "patina". Seems like a sin to me considering your talents but to each his own.
