    NASCAR team Job Opening

Rare to see help wanted ads in NASCAR teams. It's a very closed industry and word of mouth is usually all that is required to locate employees.

    Bobby Issac #71 Daytona.

Tim Welborn has resurrected the #71 Daytona from it's resting place at the International museum of speed in Talladega, dusted it off and brought it up to it's last run spec's. He took it to Bonneville and ran it to 180 MPH. They are going back this year to try to match, and perhaps break the...

    Vintage MOPAR Funny Cars

Not quite a funny car yet. A/FX altered wheelbase, predecessor to the funny car. These cars are mostly responsible for the name "funny car" just based on how they appeared. (Sure is a funny car).

    Vintage NASCAR

This was the first race for the new HEMI, The engines were delivered to the track just in time for some practice runs, were the top qualifiers. The competition didn't know what hit them.....! Vintage NASCAR

I have a copy of Richard Petty's autobiography, co authored by him in 1977. Signed by him too. It's a great, hard bound book about his life to that point and loaded with color pictures. There is a great story about the first race hemi he took to the track. It's somewhat rare but copy's show up...

    Talladega posters

This was before his time.... LOL. I was an employee at Talladega Superspeedway during the time the movie was filmed. Now THAT was fun, and free lunches for the weeks they were there. I also worked there during the repaving of the track and have over 200 digital pictures of that procedure, taken...
