    WANTED Lil' Red Express

Hankster’s Hot Rods currently has 2 ‘79 lil’ red expresses listed. One in Pa and one in the Fl locations. Both listed in the mid $30s, which seems to be the going price for a nice example, as I have looked for one myself.

For Sale considering this purchase. Please advise. 70 300 Vert. (Not Mine)

Somebody spent some cash buying this car in’70. Looking at the window sticker, most boxes were checked off, quite loaded. If you decide to look at it, I would advise that you take out the spare and take out the trunk mat, this is a rust prone area, the tops didn’t keep water out of the trunk...

    Radiator, recore or replace?

Well, the radiator was in worse shape once we got it out of the car. I hadn’t really paid much attention to it since it hadn’t been losing antifreeze. The car also never ran hot. $625. Plus tax and 10 days at the radiator shop and it is ready to go back in. Here are before and after.

    Radiator, recore or replace?

my gut feeling was to recore, but I have seen so many aluminum replacement radiators at cruise nights and car shows that I started second guessing myself. Thanks for the feedback…100% in favor of a recore. The radiator is cooling the car fine. it looks like it is a seam that needs resoldering...

    Radiator, recore or replace?

Just noticed today the radiator is a little wet along the bottom seam. No antifreeze on the floor and the level is fine. Just doing my usual inspection under the car. A/C car. Would like opinions on recore or just replace. I am leaning towards a recore. There are still some good radiator places...

1967 Crown Coupe purchased at estate sale

Mr Frey of Frey Chrysler Plymouth (in the town where I grew up) used to get his wife a new Imperial every year (as a demonstrator), usually a convertible, then would sell it as a new car the next model year. That could explain the late date on the Certicard.

    Ride Height?

I think thewide whites make the car seem lower. The back looks correct, but the front seems slightly low. Here are some photos from the 1969 Chrysler catalog for you to compare

Has anyone ever won a car show with their C body?

The few car shows I attend are not for a trophy but to support a local charity, such as the Boy Scouts, local volunteer fire depts, VFW or American Legion. My car is far from concours and is probably closer to a level 3 car than a 2. But I did receive a 1st in show at a Boy Scout car show. LOL...

Advice needed on two fronts for my '68 300 Convert with the 440

As for your bumper, the photo only shows a small section, is it rusted through, very dented? Does it just need plating? If you plan to replace it, for your search, the 1968 Chrysler 300, New Yorker and Newport all used the same rear bumper. I doubt you will find a perfect bumper from a parts...
