Hi Georg From time to time I browse the internet looking for 2 door Mopars of that period and this one just caught my eye. Plus, it was very close to me. Ended up going for a look and buying it.

Replaced some warning light bulbs in instrument panel yesterday which went ok. Then I decided to try and remove the instrument panel completely so I could take as look at the clock that doesn't work. I removed all the visible screws at the top and underneath (visible through the square holes)...

I won't be able to do that before the weekend unfortunately. But there is a light mounted to the trunk lid and in the glovebox if that's the reason for your question. Does that help?

Tidying up my new to me 72 Newport whenever I get a bit of time. Today I worked on getting rid of the surface rust in the trunk. An hour of sanding got me to this point. Not too bad I think for such an old unrestored car from Pennsylvania.

Moin Bremen! :) . Yep, I've had a look at the Web Site for Stade and it looks great. Looking forward to meeting up. I'll probably feel a bit self conscious about parking my car among all those pricey E and B bodies but I can compensate with bulk! :) I don't think the car really "needs" any work...
