    The Hurst Registry

At the outset I want to make an important point about my former Hurst, #226726. When the car was restored by the second owner in 1998, the Door Sticker apparently didn't make it through the total repaint. Most folks didn't really care about such things back then. The imprint of the glue was...

Why are parts stores part # for 1970 300 440 upper radiator hose wrong?

FWIW, Summit Racing has plenty of the 60664 and 60659 in stock. This said, the Summit price is much higher than RA's.

Please do the MATH for me. Leak down test results my 301 V-8 1957 Plymouth

In a leak down or compression test, you are testing ONLY the compression ring, not the oil rings, too. Depending upon which grade of rings were used, it could well take longer than you have been driving it for the rings to fully seat, which can also depend upon the bore finish. It if was not...

The car looks stunning Bill, wow. It really came out nice. I remember when it was all apart, and still a roller. I wish I could see it at Carlisle this week. Do you still have the yellow car?

    Chev parts in Plymouth?

Typically the dash bezel on the C-Body just don't have a radio opening, there is a part number for this (at least I think it is) 3501003. It would just have a hole for the heater control. Alan

    The Hurst Registry

Cool! Expecting lots of interest in this information, and looking forward to seeing the dataset grow. Some of the info compiled above can be found in the "Hurst nerd" thread, with many photos to boot (Edit: additional information is in this thread, started by @Bandit524). Tagging some folks...

    Chev parts in Plymouth?

It looks kind of odd that the factory would use two pieces clamped together like that. They usually do whatever is the cheapest in most cases.

    Chev parts in Plymouth?

Cleaning up shop and came across this radio delete plate. It was in a 71 plymouth fury . Numbers on back only reference to a 68-72 nova and corvette. The bracket joining them looks factory. Just found it odd if it was put on at the factory
