    NOT MINE 1970 Chrysler 300 440pc CA$12,500

I guess all those 6,000 miles were on dirt roads, way to much inner fender grime for a 6k car. Love the GM 'Lid Flip' for better performance, no seriously, the air cleaner housing doesn't appear to have the 100k+ rash on the front of it but if the engine was out a re-spray of it could be...

For Sale electronic ign Trouble shooting book

electronic. Not much to points. Point and condenser, ballast resistor which if it runs it is fine and the coil. The FSM will walk you through it. Biggest issue is the new points.cond suck from a parts store.

Upgrading the electrical system in our 67 Newport Custom

So, we have two defect low beams and since it's sealed beam lamps the availability isn't the greatest here in Norway. We are therefore looking to maybe upgrade to newer lamps where we can change bulbs and would like your input on what to get and/or where to buy. I would love to get yellow glass...

    Pushbutton A727 shavings in pan...

Hello and well met. It's been 200 or so miles after I rebuilt the Pushbutton A727 and have dropped the pan multiple times to check the health of the transmission. The shavings in the pan are silver in color. (planetary gears/bushings?) Is the amount of shavings acceptable as "normal" wear...

    Steering Box/Coupler alignment questions

Checking off some small projects this week on my '65 Chrysler and thought I would replace the rubber coupling in the steering shaft. Should be simple, right? Instead, I've noticed two things which may or may not be problems, and may be related? First, the steering box & its shaft...

1968 Plymouth fury III BULKHEAD HELP

I don't think there's an easy answer here. To remove the tarnish on the visible part of the spade connectors in the plugs, probably some sort of acid combined with a specially-crafted brush. That's if you're not going to pop the spades out of the sockets. If you don't do that, you won't see...

Engine swap should I go 360 or 383

There is a The 360 LA is probably not hard to come by. I purchased a good 360 four barrel for $300 a few months ago. I think it's from a 1980 Plymouth Volare cop car. Didn't want it, somebody needed a little money, so. Anyway, looking for a 70s Dart/Valiant to put it in. Because of fond 69 GTS...

How crispy do you like it?

Hi Missouri Your amperage output is higher than stock. You have a 60 amp alternator, so at speed the alternator is going to output more amps than stock 30 amp or 35 amp alternators. Your voltage regulator is regulating voltage, which is the electrical force pushing those amps. That is not the...

How crispy do you like it?

*It could mean that the ammeter is bad. *BUT: Firewall connectors for power output from alternator commonly go bad on their own. I would drill a hole in the firewall, use a rubber grommet in the hole, then run alternator output wire thru the grommet. That way you bypass the firewall connector...

    68 300 power brakes

You should be able to use the later single diaphragm from a Fusey if you have a console shift. Because it's bigger in diameter, it's a no go on column shift cars because it interferes with the shift linkage. Should be easier to find too. Kevin
