NOT MINE 1967 Chrysler Newport Coupe $22,500 Hebron, OH

“Mum’s” ’67 Newport was shod in the mid 1980s with Empco tires that were sold by (IIRC) Discount Tire Co., an Arizona-based chain with stores mostly in the Southwestern states including Colorado (where I was raised).

NOT MINE 1967 Chrysler Newport Coupe $22,500 Hebron, OH

I never would’ve thought of that! The glue stuck just well enough to prevent paint “bleed,” but easy to remove. Looks like it worked great!

    Cheap Chinese laser welders.

I do have “personalized” ads selected on my YT profile solely to reduce the number of ad categories that I can’t stand, but that’s only partially effective. Chrysler/Dodge adverts are conspicuous by their absence; I get Nissan ones instead along with what you mentioned, not to mention health...

    Cheap Chinese laser welders.

I think he bought it only to make the video—which I did find entertaining. “Forty quid for a welder?” Maybe in an alternate universe, but not at the exchange rates in this one. I checked The Home Depot and their best selling MIG welder was about eight times the price.

    What is this wagon?

Same here re:when I was younger. Though I prefer the ’70-’71 noses, the ’72-’73 Monaco looks better than most any new car. The styling even looks restrained next to some of the evil-looking ones of today—Lexus/Toyota, BMW, and Nissan especially.

1969 T&C wagon extremely nice original condition

My obsession with these from about age six or seven (“Can’t you talk about something else for a change?”) never went away.

Either of the two setups above is what I’d go for, personally. The 1967 Newport hardtop from my childhood/early adult years (and I wish I could’ve kept; see my profile) had the factory-stock 383/4-bbl with single exhaust, but still was among the fastest cars in the neighborhood. (Granted, that...

    Wide angle passenger side mirror

Here’s a thought: The 1980’s Omni/Horizon four-doors had optional convex mirrors (at least according to the 1980 Horizon brochure) and their glass is round. Don’t know how the size compares, though.

How to remove odor from the steering wheel of a 67 Fury?

I hope this would work on my screwdriver handles. As for the toolbox, I think it’s made of polyethylene (doesn’t hold paint) so I might have to just get rid of it.

1972 Imperial LeBaron Strange Quirks, Features & Idiosyncrasies

I noticed that issue with his comments, too. I haven’t had ballast-resistor troubles either (knock on wood); the only problem I’ve experienced specifically to a Mopar ignition system involved the distributor in my Slant-Six-powered Plymouth Scamp. That was a mechanical failure, totally...
