    Rear axle question

Ok, I pulled both axles of our 67 New Yorker. For inspection and freshening up. Good thing I did, oil seals need to be replaced. Pulling the right side axle however, a small part came along and fell to the floor when the axle came out. I fear it is something which belongs in the differential...

    Drumbrake question (1969 Chrysler)

Ok, I'm doing the rear brakes for the first time. My question is about the bottom spring. The lower springs on my car are attached to the "adjusting lever" (see pictures). Is that ok? It seems like it worked fine. The service manual and online videos however, seem to show this spring attached to...

Rear axle endplay (without measurement tool)

Ok, I'm replacing the rear brake shoes and hardware. While at it, pulled out the driver side axle out to inspect the bearing. Cleaned it and it looks good. Will put fresh grease in it and also replace the axle seal. After the driver side is back together, start the passenger side. Before I...

The Windowregulator, the Spring, and the DANGER..

Ok Guys, the windowregulator spring came off. And now I have no clue how to put it back on the regulator. Got it in once with force, but it flew off as soon as I turned the crank. Scary stuff ;-) I fugure it must be under tension when the glass is rolled down?

Had those hard to find window "sliding blocks" scanned and 3D printed.

For those hard to find C bodie plastic parts, 3D might be the solution. Take the originals to a 3D shop and have them copy them.

Not looking for one, but stumbling on a complete 69 (300) grill

Ok this is in the Netherlands (Europe). A giant shed with NOS and used parts nearby. The owner died, and now they are trying to sell as much as they can. Or the (precious) parts will go to the shredder.. An acquaintance bought alot of stuff and told me he also bought a grill, which looks like...

How to remove the belt line wheatherstrip on a 69 Chrysler (2 door) 300?

Hello guys, like the title says, how to remove the wheatherstrip on the door? I'm in the progress of pulling out the left door glass including front track. That seems impossible with the wheatherstrip still in place. The manual says to remove it. But how? I'm doing this because the (manual)...

Window regulator motor doesn´t function anymore..

Ok, 1967 Chrysler New Yorker 2 door, driver side window. It worked fine 2 weeks ago. Now window is up, but won´t move anymore. At first I suspected the switch. But when bypassed, 12 volt directly from battery to windowmotor connector (the grey one in first picture), nothing at all.. Switched...

Hey guys, Today we bought this very nice 1967 New Yorker. It will be in good company of a 69 300, and 69 Fury. It´s in the Netherlands (Europe). 440/727, runs on gasoline and LPG (just installed by previous owner). Question, what are those little gadgets for on the front bumper? Sensors for...

So, yesterday a nice 1967 New Yorker caught my eye. Numbers matching with buildsheet, fendertag. As a fuselage owner I know nothing about 67´s. And would like to know a bit more about these cars. Are these models rare, desired? How many where built? Is drivebility the same or worse then 69's...

    Ignitionswitch voltages question (1969)

Guys, car functions fine, runs and starts good. Except for a small problem when running on LPG. I won’t bother you with that. But because of that problem, I measured power at the ignitionswitch. And I wonder if the voltages it shows are normal. The red wire shows a nice 12,36volts. With the key...

    Steering wheel question

Probably silly question, but were 69 Chrysler steering wheels perfectly round? The used wheel I got is wider than it is high…? Before I start restoring it..
