    Headers

I doubt that is on any fitment list. If I were to gamble it would be on one of these; Big Block Mopar Tri-Y Under Chassis Headers Hedman Hedders 78070 Hedman Street Headers | Summit Racing Welcome to the forum.

How Much Octane Is Enough For Good Engine Performance?

It all depends on your cylinder pressure and then the rate of advance and total timing. If you are at a true 9.-1 then it may do fine on 89 in the winter but may want premium in the hotter months to keep from detonation. I would start with 89 and see how it does.

    Made it into the 12s

It was my spare parts motor I put together for it. Mostly left overs from my Charger. 440 .030 over with a 4.15 stroke crank. Hughes small solid lifter cam and 1.6 rockers. Well ported iron heads from Hensley Racing.Port matched Edelbrock ch4b intake with a Holley HP 750 carb. Hooker Super Comp...

    Made it into the 12s

16 years ago when my old 70 Polara 4dr made it's last trip down the track I was rewarded with a 12.54 @107 in the quarter. Something special about a big car going fast. The looks at the track were priceless. I did other things after that maybe would have made it a couple of tenths faster but...

Getting more power in a C body

Any A body or C body pan should work.Mancini racing sells an A body oil pan package but shipping is probably a bear overseas.

    68 300 upgrades from stock (cams/heads etc.)

If I were going to waste money on HP manifolds I would just put it towards headers. Either the Schumacher tri y or the Hooker Super comps with a 1 3/4 primary tubes. A good 2.5 dual exhaust off the current manifolds will be plenty. 2.25 tail pipes won't hurt a thing either. A factory high stall...

A simple change of mufflers may give you what you want, providing you already have dual exhaust and the rest of the system is in good shape.

    72 Newport/front sway bar

I am going to put new shocks on the front before I make any other changes. Bushings are good. Have Bilstein shocks for the front. Needs a Pittman arm and then I will check the alignment. On my old Polara police torsion bars made a world of difference.

    72 Newport/front sway bar

It does.Just trying to decide between a larger bar or bigger torsion bars. That may be the best answer.

    72 Newport/front sway bar

I knew of them just not wanting to spend $500 for bar and brackets but these are the times we live in.

    72 Newport/front sway bar

Who is left making front sway bars for our cars? Would like a front sway bar for my 72 Newport so it is a little less boaty.

Getting more power in a C body

Get an aluminum intake and paint it engine color. Between the air cleaner and the a/c compressor no one will ever know. Except your wallet paying for shipping those heavy cast iron parts. Same for the heads and no need for those hi po manifolds either unless you are willing to pay for looks...
