I know all about 727's wearing out, how 2/3 goes, and so does reverse. I'm pretty close to no trans at all. any tips and/or tricks to tackling these beasts? I know they're supposed to be real simple to rebuild but I'm just playing it safe before I dive into it. I do have my mopar issued repair...
go to scarebird.com they have a specific set of brackets for c bodys. 165 for the brackets and the bearing shim, and then it gives you a list to buy from auto zone or such. 70-72 Ford Galaxie rotors, and 94-99 Dodge Ram 1500 calipers on the stock spindles
I don't drive a lot everyday, I live so close to work. And with this mild winter, I've been riding my bikes to work. When I do take Donna out for a spin, I stay in the neighborhood, just goin' to a friends house or somethin.

I just wanna know what size tire! simple! C-body guys, flip to a '68 service manual, its near the back, it should say "blank" reccomended tire size in a nice chart. That is all I'm asking for.

Well these are the stock wheels, so if I just go ahead and get the recommended size tire clearance wouldn't be as bad. And I do plan on raising it up in the front, it sits at a slight rake.
Its not bulbs, I replaced every single bulb I could find when I bought the car. and its not a bad ground, I replaced the corroded sockets. Ill fiddle with the turn signal switch when I go to replace the steering wheel
alright I was just playing it safe with the 14" comment. but seriously, what size! I'll make the final decision on sidewall color when I get the cash in my hand (tax return) but for now I'd like an answer for what size to shop for.
makes sense. replaced the cam and had to really fiddle to get the turn signals to work properly. I'll take the steering wheel off and fiddle with it some more. thanks for the reply :wtg:
the Kelly's are they what came on the car when I bought it, I've grown to like them, especially since they're 30 year old tires. but the real question I wanted to be answered was what size bias ply tires do I get.
