After driving fine all day when I was parking it, it would idle way higher than before. Once turned off and back on the idle speed would just climb up to 1k when it used to be 400. The previous owners did leave a mess of washers and welds but I can’t find any part where It might get snagged.

So should I just stick to the universal ice I’ve loosened the column as much *** possible and still no where near enough, the coupler also as low as it can go into the box. I really don’t want to disassemble the steering column is there some thing that maybe I’m missing?

Hey guys, previously when I first installed a tach to my polara, the wire that lights up the tach was wrapped around the instrument cluster lights fuse and I really wouldn’t want an electrical fire to be the end of my car so where would you guys recommend splicing it into?
