    Our 67 ragtop

I thought I saw in another photo the thin chrome strip on the trunk in the center under the letters. Looks like you don't have backup lights - housings or maybe just the lenses are missing. Somewhat odd to see front bumper guards but not the rears. Unless you're looking for 1000% correct...

    Our 67 ragtop

You have Polara tail lights. The Monaco 500 had "MONACO" spelled out on the back, and it had the short piece of trim under the letters. Regular Canadian Monaco's, and all US/Canadian Polara's, had DODGE letters on the trunk, and no short piece of trim. I highly doubt that your tail lights are...

    Our 67 ragtop

Is this the car? It has what must be an incorrect configuration - Polara front grill with Monaco tail lights. Nothing wrong with that, but just FYI. 383 2-bbl. Was originally painted black. W6 (remind me - that is made in Canada? Or made in Canada for US export?)...

    Our 67 ragtop

I don't see any holes for the narrow belt-line trim. So either they were filled in or the car never had that trim. I'd like to see which style tail lights the car has. The front grill has a Polara-style center grill, which is common for all Canadian Monaco's - except possibly for Monaco 500...

    Idle Adjustment Screws

Were they sealing up the idle screws in 1968? I didn't think that started until the 1970's. Maybe earlier for a California car? Yes I think the gasoline today doesn't get enough blame for performance issues. Are you hearing spark-knock at cruise? But also - do you still have points...

It´s time for the Slab picture thread

@1967Monaco500 posted in Feb 2023 that he bought the L-code blue Monaco at the November (2022) Palm Springs auction: https://www.forcbodiesonly.com/mopar-forum/threads/1967-monaco-500-with-what-engine.76125/ He hasn't been seen here since Dec 2024.

That 1967 Monaco 500 has been mentioned / seen in other posts. I think the particular auction where those photos were taken has been identified. See also (posted by @Boydsdodge - Van Nuys Spring Fling in 2022)...

    Fender tag guide

Hey @regular06 where in Ontario are you? Don't focus too much on knowing fender tags at this point. You're looking for a couple of specific cars and in Ontario you're not going to find too many of those. When or if you come across any candidates, just post a photo of the tag and VIN here.

tariff codes for vintage car parts

A few years ago I shipped some arm rests to a guy in I think Florida, using Canada Post, and I thought I used a 9966.xx (or 99.66.xx) code. Canada tariff code list has that for cars and parts of cars that are 25+ years old. I look at that now, and see that the US code list does not have a 9966...

    Bad News from ESPO

This is also being discussed on FABO. Someone made a comment that supposedly or possibly ESPO was getting their leaf springs from here: https://www.johnrspring.com/leafsprings.html Actually, it's best to follow the FABO thread, as this "John R Springs" is turning out to be a red herring...
