    NOT MINE 1970 Polara convertible.

I've tried this so many times, but my driveway is still filled with junk. What am I doing wrong?

    Medina, a 1971 T-code Monaco

@ayilar, is that PPG paint? I found that PPG was the only real match to EB7, I 'm wondering if it is the same with the other colors.

Wow, in New Jersey 1/3 acre is considered a “big” lot, lol.

Resurrection of my 1970 Chrysler 300 Convertible

This Hurst that recently sold for $65k has it carpeted separately that’s where I got the idea from.

Resurrection of my 1970 Chrysler 300 Convertible

I’m still having issues with this plastic cover for the front seat retractable lap belt. I can’t get the carpet to mimic the hump. I tried a heat gun, but didn’t want to melt anything in the process. I’m thinking I will carpet this piece separately and then attach similar to the way the...

Resurrection of my 1970 Chrysler 300 Convertible

With the weather holding out longer (80 degrees most of last week!) I decided to keep going, putting the carpet in, cleaning up and installing the seats and getting the correct seatbelts put it. Thanks to @Big_John for the tip about using the soldering iron for the holes, made install that much...

Thanks everyone for your help, the brackets have been found thanks to @Dutchrebuild!

Found Rear Seat Belt Bracket 1970 Chrysler 300 Convertible

The longer one is what bolts to the bracket for the rear lap belt, the shorter one is for the front seats. Thanks, but I’m good with the sleeves, it’s the brackets I’m looking for.

Found Rear Seat Belt Bracket 1970 Chrysler 300 Convertible

I wouldn’t have thought they were different having similar build dates. I like the way you did that with the clamps. How did you deal with the front seat retractable belts near the door sills? I still haven’t figured out how to attach the plastic shield piece.

    69 polara trunk mat

I think the only ones they have left are non-convertible like the one I have. Here is the plaid design from Layson’s, same heavy rubber that I have. The ad mentions Plymouth, I’m thinking all the C body trunk mats are the same size, but someone else might know for sure. New For MOPAR 1969...

    69 polara trunk mat

Yes, new repro from Layson’s. It is in a 1970 Chrysler 300 convertible, and is a close match to the original herringbone pattern. I have a piece of the original mat and the repro is just as thick and heavy.

Found Rear Seat Belt Bracket 1970 Chrysler 300 Convertible

I hope this is a clearer picture, before the sound deadening was put down. The two red arrows are pointing to two bolt holes at the edge of the floor near the quarter window. That’s where a bracket would bolt to and then the seat belt would bolt to the bracket.

    69 polara trunk mat

That is a beautiful Truck ‘n Treat! As for the OP, here is mine. Mr Cheapo Samplingman found this one on clearance. It fits the trunk perfectly, just need to cut the slot for the spare tire and patch up the open parts.

Found Rear Seat Belt Bracket 1970 Chrysler 300 Convertible

I see it, thanks. It has the plastic sleeved seat belt, I think the ‘69 was all cloth. I’ve looked through the parts book but can’t find a part number, yet the bracket is clearly pictured in the assembly manual. I might end up making one since bolting the plastic sleeved belt directly to the...

Found Rear Seat Belt Bracket 1970 Chrysler 300 Convertible

Thanks Alan, mine is definitely different than what you show. There is no “outboard” bolt hole provision other than the two holes I show in the first pic. After looking through the FSM and the Assembly Manual, I’m thinking that the ‘70 with the bracket is a one year, convertible only piece.
