What are you working on today??

Got the Desoto home Monday night, but it was too late to do anything with it. Tuesday it rained (car was outside), so I didn't touch it. Yesterday I was finally able to get at it. The car was a great deal because it didn't run, it wasn't getting fuel to the pump. The previous owner had replaced...

What are you working on today??

Something is amiss on the Mazda. The drives side pads are gone, they passenger side are practically new. Seem the drivers caliber is hung up, or the slide pins are not sliding anymore. Going to try and free it up and grease the pins. If that doesn't work calipers are cheap.

What are you working on today??

The tire shop I go to did it for free with a patch, not a roadside plug.

What are you working on today??

Damn screw... Then the batteries died in my truck. While I was driving my in Mazda to get the new batteries its apears a rear brake pad separated in it. They say it comes in three's, so I hope this is it for a while...

What are you working on today??

Changed the crankshaft position sensor in my eco-shitbox Mazda 3. Very easy process seeing as half the plastics under the car are missing or destroyed. Then I swapped my winter wheels onto the truck. Its not that time yet, but I won't have time at the end of October so I'm taking advantage of...

What are you working on today??

I started the day out with intentions of greasing the trailers bearings. Before I started I decide to take a good look around. After removing the deck, I decided it was just time to lay this old hulk to rest. She's just not worth the hassle. If it had just been some of the cross rails I would...

What are you working on today??

I was finally able to get it in for a safety and as I had hoped it needed nothing to safety. Very happy with this little Mazda. Starting last Thursday I decided to add an extension on my deck. Of course I decided to start this during a heat wave. I did the frame myself, then my brother and a...

What's the funniest mod you've seen in a while???

Why not? The trim on these cars are mostly stainless or aluminum and can be polished back to near new condition. The bumpers on the other hand, they are chrome and chrome is not cheap to redo. Once it fades, thins, pits and distorts in anyway sometimes the easiest/cheapest thing to do is just to...

What are you working on today??

Replaced the steering bearing in my 04 2500hd. These old GMT800 trucks are some of the most dependable trucks out there, but like everything there's that one part that makes you wonder why. On these trucks it's the plastic steering column bearing that just doesn't last, it makes the truck feel...

What are you working on today??

Picked up a new MPG beater. Yesterday and this morning I spent time detailing it and getting acquainted with it. Fixed anything I found that it would need for a safety. So far the only thing I could find was the headlights were potentially too faded so I polished them out. Before After 3...

What are you working on today??

After the Village came by and took the tree at the end of my lane way down, I tore my bush down. This will make it much easier to get into my lane way, especially with the trailer. Before After Next step is to build an address board and small garden in the area. After I kill the stumps left behind.

    v10 new yorker

its hard to want to mess with a car that runs so well. As cool as it would be to swap the 8.3, it's a lot of work I don't want to commit to at the moment.

What are you working on today??

Sorted out the no start on the 1500 Intruder and got it back together with the new exhaust. The starter relay was no good. With the new exhaust the bike sounds so much better, and is lighter too now. With the P.A.I.R system deleted there are no pops on deceleration which is nice.
