    57 300 barn find

The 300 Club is aware of this car, but even the deep pocket fellers are hesitant to take on a new project with this much work. Extensive metal work + replacement parts = $$$$$. Hopefully, someone will fall in love with the color and bring this car back to life as an act of love. Otherwise it'll...

My Ultimate Fantasy - Better than hootchie-kootchie with twins

Wow... that Sport Fury is cool. The factory shift and AC are awesome. And I also like all the other period correct details on the car. Too bad that it got left to rot. But at least glad someone's going to save it and the parts will live on elsewhere.

    stock 14" wheel question

Welcome to the boards. If you're measuring, be sure to measure from the inside of one bead to the inside of the other. On a 14" wheel I'd suspect 6" would be the max. Wouldn't be surprised if it's actually less. I'm sure other more learned members of this forum will be glad to share.

What will the gavel fall at???

In the last 12 months there is/was a similar car for sale in Connecticut. Red over tan convertible. It has an amazing documented history with the first owner being Mel Blanc, Hugh Heffner later purchasing the car for one of his wives and a few sports celebs mixed in for good measure. The seller...

    Classic car insurance

Recently moved all my classic car insurance over to Hagerty. Their rates on American classics are great. Agreed upon value. And they're very helpful finding a deductible that optimizes your coverage. No mileage restrictions but it's best to be honest with the number of miles you plan on putting...
