Mine is noisy right from when it's first started. I have no choke so I have to Rev it up a bit when cold, the fan is roaring away right from the start. I did take it for a 20 minute ride and it seemed to go away for a short time, maybe above a certain speed? But then quickly comes back again

I went to spin the fan, it's the same when cold as it was after a 20 minute ride. You can turn it with your hand but has a lot of resistance. Doesn't spin freely, more like the platter on a belt drive turntable

My original is a plaid pattern vinyl mat. I like the idea of the black carpeted one, I guess it was only on the Monaco? So the conv. mat would fit, it's just cut in a different place?

I only see a repro for the convertibles, does anyone know the difference between the conv. Trunk mat and the sedan or coupe one?

One more question, the Classic Industries catalog only lists 15x7 rings, but doesn't say if they are 3" deep or not. Anyone have experience with those ones?

I took it for a first drive to the gas station. I didn't hear the creak but it does have a whine every time you let go of the gas pedal and coast. Just keeps going until you push the gas.
