    Dash smoke

I had a similar smoke issue on the dash of my 67 Coronet once, more than twenty years ago. A puff of smoke for a few seconds and then the smoke was gone. The smoke turned out to be the voltage limiter on the back of the gauge cluster. I then replaced it, but it took alot of trial and error to...

Old House Vineyard Run - Nov. 15, 2025 (Washington DC to McLean / Gainesville / Culpeper, VA)

Let me know if you ever do one of these cruises in western Loudoun, Clarke, Warren, or Frederick County Virginia, or the West Virginia pan handle. Bear Chase Brewery in western Loudoun might be a nice choice as it has an amazing view. Harpers Ferry Brewing also has a great view.

    New Yorker - 65 vs 66

The glass headlight covers and the white tail light lenses, on the 65 New Yorker, make it more unique and desirable in my opinion. The 66 looks like it should have glass headlight covers, but doesn't.

Rockville Antique and Classic Car Show (Maryland, October 18, 2025)

Many years ago, the owner of a 56 Buick Roadmaster was sitting in a lawn chair behind his car. a late 50's Rolls Royce, in the row behind him, rolled and he was pinned between the cars. The Buick owner died in the hospital from the injuries. Wheel Chocks have been required ever since. But it...

C bodies at Fall Carlisle 2025

At the auction at fall Carlisle. there were a couple of Imperials and a 65 Fury convertible. The flaired rear quarters on the Fury were created with a bit of artistic license. Don't know what the bidding results were.

C bodies at Fall Carlisle 2025

These two were in the car corral at Fall Carlisle yesterday. Don't know if they are still there or not. Monaco rear quarters behind the rear wheel wells didn't quite have the right contour, and that's probably why the lower rear quarter trim is missing on this one. Still, both were pretty cars.
