Changed a new (NOS) dimmer, because the old one didn't work properly. Neither this new one. Instrument lights come on only when the dimmer is turned to its most upper position. It doesn't adjust the lights but instead it works On-Off-method. Another weird thing is, that the dash lights come on...

Not even a quality. We were changing the instrument light dimmer to my daughter's 1971 Monaco and decided to go all the way and give some Oxide cleaner and protection to all sockets and contacts. Here's what is left for some bulbs. It seems like an OEM stuff.
