1971 to 1970 Plymouth Fury parts exchange

The entire roof section for a 1971 Sport Fury 2-door. This one had a vinyl roof and rusted through like swiss cheese. Is that one still available?

    My 1971 Chrysler Town & Country 440

Hi, I just wanted to let you know that it's a very common problem on Chrysler engines to hear a noise that sounds like a valvetrain noise. In reality it is usually an exhaust leak where the manifold contacts the head. These engines didn't come from the factory with gaskets, they have a machined...

    Better late than never

Check out the video for Love Shack by the B-52s. They drive a 65 300 convertible in that one!

    I think I broke something . . . but it doesn't make sense (66 Newport)

When I pulled out my cluster to see why my fuel gauge worked intermittently and my dash lights weren't working, I found three of the pins that the wiring harness plug onto broken loose from the circuit board. So while I had it out, I soldered the three pins back on and soldered every loose...

    66 Newport T56 Swap

Here are pictures of the front and rear disc setups. I had to put a spacers on the front and rear to clear the calipers because of drum style rims. I wanted to keep my original 14" rims and hubcaps and this setup worked perfectly! I had to adjust the side to side play on the 8 3/4" rear axles...

1966 Newport 3 on the tree

Those are aftermarket rims designed for disc brakes. I have the original 14" steelies with hubcaps. Not designed to clear the calipers. I guess since drums turn with the rims they never had to worry about clearance.

1966 Newport 3 on the tree

Yeah, I was driving it back to Memphis from Youngstown, OH and when I would hit the brakes, it would jump into the right lane so the first order of business was 4-wheel disc brakes! It had manual drums. And it does stop nice and easy now! The only problem was the rims were made for drum brakes...

1966 Newport 3 on the tree

My friend Matt owns the sedan. The fender tag screws in so I guess they removed it for the paint. The paint job does look very thorough. I was thinking about repainting the rad support. I wonder how nice it would look with the Mist Green metallic.

1966 Newport 3 on the tree

Hi all! Just wondering how rare is a 1966 Chrysler Newport Convertible with 3 on the tree. I purchased this car from a used car lot in Youngstown, OH in February 2021 and that's the reason I bought it because of the perceived rarity. Very low on options. I have a copy of the original window...

    1966 Chrysler 300 Valuation

When going to Carlisle, do you have to register to be in or do you just show up? I have a 66 Newport Convertible that I intend on bringing.

‘70 Plymouth Fury III Vert 383

The 400 engine had the biggest bore size of any Chrysler engine. Bigger than the 440 even. So with the right pistons and heads, these engine were pretty potent. My brother had a 400 Magnum in his 73 Charger.
