    Rear heat/AC

Kinda looks after market to me. I had a '67 Imperial and a '73 Imperial with factory rear air. Looked nothing like that. Not saying it won't work but I'm pretty sure it's not factory.

Exact Replacement A/C Components Now Becoming Available for Our C bodies

Looks like a nice piece to me. That doesn't mean a thing. They flexible for two reasons, installation and vibration. Obviously, care must be taken while putting it in but I think you've got a winner there. As Steve said, not everything that comes from China is junk. I bought a radiator for my...

Or the film strip that goes with it. It's on you tube I believe.

AutoTemp II - where do I begin?

Sorry, but I had to disagree... if it were as simple as you say it is, nobody would be bitching about it, and everyone would have a working system, and it wouldn't be an issue. Plain and simple, the system worked when they were new but VERY difficult to fix, diagnose, and repair in the later...

AutoTemp II - where do I begin?

Probably the amplifier not sending the proper signals to the servo unit. All the fan speeds and vacuum controls are run thru the servo. You can get it to stop by pulling the 10 hose vacuum bundle off of the servo then plug the hose that's got vacuum on it. But that's not a real fix. Just...

Identifying a 67 Imperial ATC car

My first '67 was a Crown with ATC, there was no sensor on the dash in front of the steering wheel. It was built into the dash not on top. That must be a blemish from something else. I would have to look at my FSM to be sure.

    Expansion Valve Help Needed

Suck it up and come anyway.:poke:Most of my cars don't have functioning ac, and I'm sure a lot of others don't either. My '67 Imperial LeBaron for example wasn't even ordered with AC.

    Auto temp 1 diagnostic tool

Agreed, I've got the one for the ATCII and haven't gotten much help from it. But then again, everyone and their brother has had a try at getting the system to work, so who knows what they have effed up over 40 years. The system may be so out of whack that it may take a miracle to get it working...

    auto temp II

Mine was ordered with AT II but was converted prior to my buying it from the second owner. I spotted the part that usually goes apparently on the Imperial club page http://www.imperialclub.com/Yr/1973/index.htm under the repair literature section I found an add... seems a little "Salty" but...

floor vents with auto temp control

My 78 NYB was ordered with auto temp 2... luckily it must of **** the bed before I got and it was converted over. It works fine now, but I can see the issues of old nylon/plastic bits becoming old and brittle and leaking vacuum, not only causing the ac system to malfunction, but also drivability...

    A/C rebuild

Sounds like he's already started the work... that price seems terribly high. I hate when people gouge. I have a Jaguar talk about highway robbery...thank God I do everything myself. If it's not too late I would get a couple more estimates or if you're comfortable with working on it yourself...
