Question about '68 Monaco/Polara AM radio PN 2649965

Just like modern day parts counters, part numbers can be " superceded" or updated. The AutoPact saw the flood of parts-- and cars crossing the border. 1968 saw more changes and more streamlining because of this.

Question about tilt steering colum for '67 - '68 Dodge Monaco / Polara

I recommend getting the correct wheel fot the TT column. The non tilt wheel has a deep dish to it whereas the TT wheel is almost flat. Flat so you can adust the wheel in and out. You will end up having the column all the way in with the non tilt wheel which defeats the purpose.

WIW: auto console with tach. 68 Monaco 500.

Windsor built 440 Magnum Monaco 500's are SUPER rare. Too bad about being too far gone. The Tach is worth more than the console. A rebuilt tach with electronic guts and rechromed fetches 2 grand. Good cores run 500 bux. Throw in the console...lol!

    Interior rear seat

Heads up, FYI convertible rear seats are specific. They are narrower than 2 or 4 door cars and do not interchange. Once your rear seat is out, inspect the seat frame. Rusty frames are common on convertible seats, especially the bottom section. Hope his helps.

    Buttons, Switches & Bezels

Brent Ball and family do rebuild switches and complete dashes. They do excelkent work and highly recommend them. 2 Other options: Find NOS switches. Keep in mind the headlight and wiper switches are 1 year only based on part number. Typically the togle switches tend to hold up well except the...

I used A body buckets on the truck bucket seat tracks. Should be no problem bolting a Formal seat onto a truck seat frame with minimal modification. Hope this helps.

    66 Ignition Lock Cylinder Light

Yup! Just enough to see. It was never intended to be bright. Btw, LED do not work there. As you know, that bulb runs off a load rated resistor/timer that is not compatable with LED's.
