I've decided it may not be in my best interest to explain how to dis-arm a vehicle safety device on the WWW. for obvious reasons. Anyone with questions, should feel free to PM me, and I will be happy to help whatever way I can.

So after a few of hours, I've managed to get the one of the headrest apart...remove the deployment springs and re-assemble, without breaking anything. Have one more to complete. Feeling reassured there will be no unwelcomed deployment while driving.

I've taken the headrest apart and removed the springs. Still working on re-assembly. I'll post some pictures if any one needs them.

Not sure if this has been discussed. Thought I would share. This happened to my wife's 2015 Durango. Luckily no one was hurt. I'm going to follow up on this as we just purchased this vehicle two months ago. I would suggest removing the headrest as I did, as a safety precaution until this issue...

Clocking Speedometer
