Yours came with the rack from the factory? Do you remember if the roof strips go all the way under the rack rails? I've been trying to find one that someone has installed or taken off recently. In 1960, you couldn't get the rack factory installed on a Chrysler, the dealer had to do it.

Do you remember if the headliner had to be out? I've seen different attachments for the grab handles. My car has nylon inserts at the top of the roof where the handles meet the trim and a Phillips screw holds it down. I got a set of handles off a '60 Pymouth wagon and they had little carriage...

Beautiful! Have you ever had the roof rack off of one of these? I have a friend who wants to know how it is mounted. The accessory catalog says they only take minutes to install. I'd assume they use the same holes as the roof strips but don't know if you drill through the strips or cut them off.

Sweet, even has the Fratzog! I have a spare load plate that's better than the one in the car. I found that I have a bend on the right inner side of the tailgate. Probably from someone standing on it. Keeps the gate from sealing with the weatherstrip. Looks to be a common problem.
