Hi Frank. Still haven't found any of it or any matching material. I guess that's still holding you up on your wagon. Nick.

Got my fuel tank installed. Had an issue with the mount for the tank strap. The captured nut in the bracket on the body broke loose. Had to cut the bolt head off to get it out. That left me with a hole. Was going to put a rivnut in it but the hole was too big so made an insert to drop down in...

Put the new exhaust in the car this weekend. Still needs a bit of fiddling to get things lined up right. Also got all the fuel lines done and fuel pump installed. Had to make a new one to go through the subframe as well as the one going from the pump to the carburetor. Got the gas tank ready to...

Just like my friend's '64 NY T&C. Of course the 3 row wagons also got an ashtray for the way back kiddies.

I think it's just the '60 Chrysler you couldn't get it from the factory. I guess they didn't want to mess up the lines of the car. I've been trying to find ones that originally had racks to see if it was on the build card.

Yours came with the rack from the factory? Do you remember if the roof strips go all the way under the rack rails? I've been trying to find one that someone has installed or taken off recently. In 1960, you couldn't get the rack factory installed on a Chrysler, the dealer had to do it.

Do you remember if the headliner had to be out? I've seen different attachments for the grab handles. My car has nylon inserts at the top of the roof where the handles meet the trim and a Phillips screw holds it down. I got a set of handles off a '60 Pymouth wagon and they had little carriage...

Beautiful! Have you ever had the roof rack off of one of these? I have a friend who wants to know how it is mounted. The accessory catalog says they only take minutes to install. I'd assume they use the same holes as the roof strips but don't know if you drill through the strips or cut them off.

Dan, do you have a thread on your wagon? I love white cars with blue interiors.

Sweet, even has the Fratzog! I have a spare load plate that's better than the one in the car. I found that I have a bend on the right inner side of the tailgate. Probably from someone standing on it. Keeps the gate from sealing with the weatherstrip. Looks to be a common problem.

Paul, here is a picture of the side seal for the tailgate. I've seen some general purpose seals that might work but haven't found wagon specific ones. I'll take additional pictures.

The first tank I got came from someone on Facebook in Canada. I actually had him ship it to the farm where the car was before it got picked up by the shipper. The I got another tank in Bakersfield. I picked up a third tank which I will probably resell after I get the car going. There is a guy...

Yes, the plastic trims for the rear air are very fragile and hard to find. I was offered this spare set after getting my car but I passed them onto someone who really needed them. I'll probably regret doing that one day but I'd rather see someone else able to finish their car than for me to have...

They had dual A/C units in cars for a few years before my car, I think was 1959 for the first year of the dual unit in wagons. And yes, they basically used the same design for all the years it was offered. While the big box in the engine compartment takes up a bit of room it makes it much easier...
