Shouldn't it have wheel opening & maybe rocker trim?

Which AC compressor. RV2 or Sandon on my 66 New Yorker

A 66 won't have a low pressue compressor cutoff switch. Regardless, all the required investigations into what condemns the compressor need to be done.

Mopar Show and Swap at the Packard Proving Grounds (Metro Detroit)

Anybody in the Detroit area going to this event? I will be there. I am kinda new to C-bodys (I'm a Fusey guy and former Dodge A100 van guy), but would enjoy meeting other C-body folks. I will have my 69 Fury convertible, and maybe mine and my son's Lemons rally 70 Dart. If you haven't been...

This rubber trunk mat available for my 57 Belvedere?

You bet! I am not seeing anything to be concerned about. No smoke, no fluid consumption, not hard to start.. and 10 psi max difference.. that's not a radical swing deserving of concern in my mind.

Anyone else that has checked their stock 301 compression in PSI?

I'm not sure what the 301 should return as to compression tests, BUT a 1972 Chrysler 400 2bbl spec'd at about 100psi with a rated 8.2CR. As long as the cyls are within 20psi of each other, I'd call it good. I suspect the earlier 301 and later 400 might have CRs closer to each other than...

This rubber trunk mat available for my 57 Belvedere?

Sorry, those are the two high #'s 110 psi. the rest are 100 psi.

This rubber trunk mat available for my 57 Belvedere?

2 similar cylinders are #4 and #7. After reading my old posts you sent me (thank you), I need to wait another 500 miles or more to check compression again.

This rubber trunk mat available for my 57 Belvedere?

I'd be happy with 120 per cyl.. especially for a hone and re-ring. If the 2 cyls with lower numbers are right next to each other I might question the head gasket seal or re-torque the head bolts but if it doesn't smoke, no blow by, use any fluids, and starts easy I'd think it's good enough to...

This rubber trunk mat available for my 57 Belvedere?

Yes, I think about 60 pounds heavier.... Thanks 57, I posted a new thread to find out. People are anxious to mention what they think, but I want to see from actual owners of the 301 to find out. I've got a 68 GTO 400 engine with a cam and the psi #'s are 120 a cylinder and it goes like a bat...

Mine are pretty even at 100 psi.

Which AC compressor. RV2 or Sandon on my 66 New Yorker

Regardless of what vent temps come out, the older cars are very poorly insulated against heat or cold. A few pieces of jute above the headliner, mainly for keeping the roof panel from resonating and such. Jute on the firewall inner side for sound issues. And jute under the carpet for softness...

Which AC compressor. RV2 or Sandon on my 66 New Yorker

Define compressor is no longer working. Doesn't turn/seized up/rod stuck out the side or clutch doesn't engage? If it's low on, or out of freon, it won't engage the clutch. Unless it was run out of freon and oil or has a million miles on it, those compressors are about as bulletproof as they...

NOT MINE 1968 Dodge Polara Convertible 440 Magnum - $28,700 Texas

All that and manual brakes, would be nice to see the VIN or fender tag to confirm its an L Code car. The trim is right for a "base" Polara.
